Definition

Calculated affordability ratio (method housing.pti.v1): calendar-year mean of HPM02 Mean Sale Price divided by DEA05 mean weekly earnings annualised (×52), Both sexes / 15 years and over. Not an official CSO observation. Observed price and earnings rows remain stored separately and are never overwritten. UI may highlight values above 4.0 (Central Bank threshold) — that threshold is a display rule, not a source field. Named mean (not median) because HPM02 supplies mean sale prices.
