Estimated — not a CSO ROA12 observation and not the RSA public-road annual extract. Garda totals include some non-public-road public places (the same difference as Garda 190 versus RSA 185 for 2025). Provisional and subject to change. A linear full-year projection may be shown in the UI from this YTD and as-of date; that projection is not stored as an official count.
