Recorded crime is not a count of offences committed or of detections. CSO lifted Statistics Under Reservation in October 2023; Group 09 (Fraud) from Q3 2023 is public reports only; Group 13 in 2020–2022 includes COVID public-health incidents. Garda division and station series use current Operating Model labels (dropdown, not map polygons). Full caveats are listed below.
Definition
Quarterly recorded crime incidents by current Garda division (CSO CJQ10, 21-division Operating Model from Q1 2003). CSO already remapped history onto these labels — this product does not reconstruct the old 28 divisions. Ingest is ICCS major offence groups only. ICCS Group 09 (Fraud) in CJQ10 stops at Q2 2023; from Q3 2023 that cut comes from companion table CJQ11 (public reports to Gardaí only). Dropdown places; not painted on the county map. State totals belong on crime.recorded_quarterly. Recorded ≠ committed ≠ detected.

- Quarterly recorded incidents by current Garda division (CJQ10). CSO already publishes this table on the 21-division Operating Model — this product does not reconstruct or weight the old 28 divisions.
- The CJQ10 PxStat extract currently fills 2025–2026 quarters; earlier years appear on the time axis as empty cells and are not stored.
- Places are in the dropdown, not on the county map. State totals belong on crime.recorded_quarterly, not here.
- Explore All (major offence groups) sums the ICCS headline groups ingested from CJQ10. Leaf offence types are not stored on this indicator.
- ICCS Group 09 (Fraud) in CJQ10 stops at Q2 2023. From Q3 2023 that cut comes from companion table CJQ11 (public reports to Gardaí only — not Section 19 financial-institution referrals). Do not read Group 09 as one continuous all-fraud series.
